The Trumpet Project is something that started out of my desire to perform music in a more intimate setting than a large orchestra or jazz band. The initial quest was to find interesting music that I wanted to play with a pianist and then it morphed into a trip through history which led to discovering so many interesting stories that were related to the development of the Trumpet.

In recent years I have expanded my music performances to include other ensembles and projects that I find rewarding. These include working with jazz singer Ikuko May as part of a quintet performing jazz standards. Also with Ikuko we have formed a duo presentation featuring the top No. One hits from the golden age of recording, 1945-1960.
